Our Story

It all started with Eevee. She was our first dog, a rescued German Shepherd with a laundry list of issues we wanted to learn how to overcome, so we started working with her to improve her behaviors, and fell in love with the process that is dog training. Once we saw her progress with what limited knowledge we had at the time, we furthered our training journey by going to a dog training school in early 2021. With a background in construction, we wanted to use our work ethic and love for animals to help people improve the way they live and interact with their dogs. After learning many different methods and applying them, we learned what does (or does not) work for the dog in front of us, and look forward to using that knowledge to help you and your dog!

Our Mission

To build a house, you need a foundation. The same is true for training your dog. Instead of concrete, the foundation of dog training is trust and building relationship. Through play and a guiding hand, beautiful relationships can blossom, and that's when the real training begins! Once we have our foundation, it's time for framework. This is when we build in our obedience commands: sit, down, place, heel, and recall, these act as our supports as training progresses. Once the walls are up, it's time to finish the house. This is a really exciting part, where we proof (or challenge) our dogs knowledge in controlled scenarios, helping them to make the right choice no matter the distraction in front of them or the environment they are in. Our goal is to help you through each of these stages, and leave you with a stronger relationship with your dog and the tools to succeed in everyday life.

"Corey came to us after we had spent loads of money with other trainers. We were trying to find a technique that would would work on our lab who has some funny quirks but to no avail. Corey proposed using an e-collar for training. We were skeptical at first, but between the e-collar and Corey‘s customized guidance, our lab is finally under (our) control. Highly recommend using Evo’s K9 training!"

"Corey is a rock solid dog and human educator. He helped me wrangle my 70 pound “baby” into a well mannered and pleasure to walk gentleman. He is so good I no longer need a trainer so passing him on to you! It’s so worth the time and effort - you have to step up and do your part but really - JUST DO IT! You won’t be sorry. Yes it takes investment but it’s a lifelong benefit. Good canine citizens needed!"

"We rescued a mature dog back in January who had little to no training. Corey was able to help us with a number of things like leash training, e-collar training, and commands. After training with Corey we are now able to introduce our cats to him which we were not able to do before. I highly recommend Corey, he is very professional, responsive, and passionate about his work. Thank you again Corey!"

"Corey was fantastic with my chocolate lab, Harvey! He knew exactly how to handle Harvey’s high energy and connected with him immediately. Corey was patient, knowledgeable, and provided practical advice that was easy to follow. Thanks to Corey, Harvey is more focused, and better behaved. I highly recommend Corey to anyone needing help with their dog!"

Corey has been absolutely super with our two German Shepherds Maxine and Phyllis. I would recommend him for any dog training needs... he has also been very helpful when we have questions and need advice along the way. Maxine and Phyllis adore him and we trust him implicitly with our two big fur babies. Keep up the great work Corey and team!
